TIFFANY J. JOHNSON is a filmmaker and storyteller who recently directed episodes of BLACK MONDAY (Showtime), ‘BOOMERANG’ (BET), ‘DEAR WHITE PEOPLE’ (Netflix), ‘TWENTIES’ (BET) and THE LAST OG (TBS).  

Her first short film LADYLIKE, a collaboration with friend and creative partner, Nicholas P. Williams, currently streams on Issa Rae's YouTube channel and screened at multiple festivals including the San Francisco Black Film Festival, the Lower East Side Film Festival and the Diversity in Cannes showcase, where she won the “Director's Choice Award.”

Hailing straight out of Compton, Johnson graduated from the American Film Institute's Directing Workshop for Women program, where she directed her second short film, MARABOU. She has worked for several TV and film production companies such as Overbrook Entertainment and Film Independent and she has assisted Academy Award-winning producer Peggy Rajski.
